Medicare Supplement Plan N
Plan N: Plan G with small copays.
Plan N covers the same things as Plan G except two: you pay a copay of up to $20 for some office visits and up to $50 for emergency room visits that don't end in admission, and it does not cover Part B excess charges. In exchange the premium is lower than Plan G, which is why many healthy people who see the doctor a few times a year choose it.
Plan N quick facts
Copays of up to $20 (office) and $50 (ER) instead of a higher premium. Plan N benefits are standardized by federal law, so every company's Plan N pays the same — only the premium is different.
