Medicare Supplement Plan F
Plan F: the most complete plan, closed to new members.
Plan F covers every gap in Original Medicare, including the $283 Part B deductible, so you pay nothing out of pocket for Medicare-covered care. Because it covers the Part B deductible, it cannot be sold to anyone who became eligible for Medicare on or after January 1, 2020. Plan F premiums have also risen faster than most, because no new, healthier members can join the pool. Plan G is the closest plan available to everyone.
Plan F quick facts
Only available if you were eligible for Medicare before January 1, 2020. Plan F benefits are standardized by federal law, so every company's Plan F pays the same — only the premium is different.
