MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT PLAN B
Medicare Supplement Plan B
Plan B: Plan A plus the hospital deductible.
Plan B is Plan A plus the Part A hospital deductible. It does not cover skilled nursing facility care, foreign travel, or Part B excess charges. Few companies sell it today, and it usually costs close to Plan G while covering less.
Plan B quick facts
Plan B pays the $1,736 hospital deductible that Plan A leaves to you. Plan B benefits are standardized by federal law, so every company's Plan B pays the same — only the premium is different.
